My Trip to Mexico

In March of 2007 my family went on a cruise of the Mexican Riviera from San Diego, California. We flew out of LAX, Vancouver to San Francisco and then from there to San Diego where we boarded our cruise ship in the afternoon. Boarding is quite the long process and so it was dinner time before the voyage actually began.

Once, a quiet little fishing village, Zihuatanejo has become a tourist Mecca for Canadians Once, used as a setting for a TV series, Zihu. has become a regular port-of-call for cruise ships.

Soledad De Maciel, thousands of years ago was a populous place. Destroyed by a tsunami, it is now an archaeological dig and an area of coconut plantations.
