Maybe they already forgot (or intentionally forgot!) the promises they made during the campaign period. Or maybe their principles were overshadowed by the color of money and changed by the taste of power.

Government officials are, no doubt, very smart, but some are heartless. One can't serve without a heart. Brains alone either can't. It needs deep passion to serve and lead millions of people. Philippines is very unfortunate to only have a few people with that kind of passion.

Philippines have a lot of potential to grow if you will only into consideration its resources. The only problem is the people who handle these resources. Most of the Filipinos can't do anything about the situation but to pray and pray and pray as evidenced by a number of prayer rallies and masses for a renewed and better Philippines.
