Nudists

If you've never been to a nudist beach, then there are a few rules that you should know and learn to respect before you visit one. People who are live nudist's lives or go to nudist's beaches are living that lifestyles because it makes them feel free, it has nothing to do with any neither sexual needs nor desires.

Those who stay at nudist resorts or want to rest on the beaches of a nudist beach do not like to be gawked at. In fact, they find it very rude. You can be thrown out of a resort just by gawking at someone to much. If you think that going to a nudist beach means you'll see a lot of action, you are the only one who feels that way. Nudist beaches are just like normal beaches and naturalists treat them as just that. They walk around and tan just like a normal beach and they also play games like volleyball. No long ago a beach was made into a women-only beach because too many men were staring at women. The same thing can happen with these nudist beaches. So bottom line, control your eyes or you won't be able to set foot on a beach, period.

You always have to ask people for their permission before taking their photo. This is just common sense and is also very rude if you do it anyways without asking. So make sure you are told that you can take someone's picture before you do. For those who have been sunbathing nude for awhile know a certain secret code, but those who have never been to a nudist beach will learn quickly that when someone is bathing nude in secluded areas, that they will leave their swimsuit on a pile of rocks to show that they are bathing nude up ahead. Of course, some are uncomfortable with having their bathing suit so far out of the way. If this is you, make sure to be an extra bathing suit or towel.

Always get dressed before you leave the nudist beach. This is because only the beach is allowing nudity, so once you step foot off the sand you should be dressed. If you don't, then you could have a fine for public indecency even if the nudist beach is just right there next to you.

You can be friendly to people, however many people go to nudist beaches to relax. So make sure you give that person space. Don't make the mistake of thinking just because everyone's naked that you'll be treated like it's the 60's because you won't.

They ask you not to have sex on the beach. Most people find this offensive and it's also illegal, so therefore you just might end up in jail. Some beaches have not refreshments so make sure you always come prepared with food, water, and sunscreen and of course a towel,

The Edinburgh Castle’s main attractions

The beautiful Edinburgh Castle which is perched on an extinct volcano, which no doubt offers some pretty amazing views is one of the greatest tourist spots in the world. Since this powerful castle is one of the top tourist’s sites, it is no doubt the national symbol of Scotland.

Edinburgh was once a prison for sailors from different countries back in the 18 and 19th century. This included some high named people’s people such as some crewmen that sailed with John Paul Jones, who was the founder of the American Navy. Some of their handmade ships and other belongings can be found displayed in the Prisoners of War exhibition.

Some other fine attractions you can find at the Edinburgh is the Honors of the Kingdom exhibition, this tells the story of Scotland’s Crown Jewels which were saved from Cromwell. These jewels became some of the oldest surviving regalia in Europe. It also has the famous Stone of Destiny that was taken to Westminster Abbey back in the year 1296. However 700 years later the stone was returned back to Scotland.

There are so many great things, historical things, to be seen at the Edinburgh Castle. Some of the most surprising might be the One O’clock Gun, which you can see on display in the history of time guns and timekeeping exhibit. Once standing proudly on the castle ramparts but now lies in its on exhibit is the huge seize cannon Mons Meg. Of course don’t forget the National War museum, where you can find uniforms and equipment that soldiers used as they marched into battle on different lands other than their own. You can see many wonderful historical valuables dating back to the 17th and early 18th century. The Battle of Culloden flags are also on display. One of the most complete collections of uniforms however would be from the French revolutionary and Napoleonic wars.

One of the oldest buildings is St. Margaret’s Chapel, which dates back to the 1100’s. I bet that is gorgeous to see. Dating back to the 15th century, will find that the principal courtyard “Crown Square” is still standing. Built by James IV, the great hall makes a fine place to visit. Another wonderful place to see is the Half Moon Battery which was created in the 16th century.

For all you memorial lovers who stand proud of all those who have died protecting what they love, please do not forget to stop by the Scottish National War museum which was added after the first World War. Please pay your respects to those who wore the uniforms and the weapons once upon a time in the 17th and 18th centuries. Without these soldiers we would not have such a wonderful place to come to and see all the glorious history the Edinburgh has to offer.
