Search for Adventure

How strong is the drive and determination to climb the mighty Everest? What is it in us that fuel's the most ambitious conquest of the world's mightiest mountain? Bitter cold storms icy snow and winds that are so violent it will take tents, sleeping bags climbing gear and men in one sweep. Yet the challenge is there and men have met it and will continue to do so. Unfortunately some have died in the attempt. One will never realize how insignificant we mortals are, how very fragile we are as when we stand to view the world from this mountain.

The breathtaking scenery to view the world's highest peak may very well be an emotional high. Unfortunately at this time we know of some 200 deaths and the mountain is their final resting place. If you are so inclined to visit try trekking, anywhere from 9 days to 25 days, is a well-planned program. There are icy river's rocky trails and suspension bridges to cross. It is a wonderful way to see the Himalayas. You follow the guide and although it can be a little rough at times it is a wonderful adventure.

If that is not your cup of tea try skydiving. This also is an opportunity to see the world from on high about 2 miles high above the Delaware valley. The parachute ride takes from 4 to 6 minutes and the instructor is with you all the way.

There is white water rafting trips on the Hudson Gorge. This is one to look into. If one is not ready for the upper gorge there is available in the spring and fall the middle Hudson gorge. Either one is very exciting.

Or try sailing Alaska explore fjords, sheer granite cliffs pristine water whales glaciers and spectacular scenery. It is truly beautiful.

Vermont has some wonderful mountain and rock and ice climbing. Information 8608812780 this is not for the faint hearted.

Scuba diving in Florida or the Bahamas is wondrous to see the life beneath the water the coral reefs and the schools of colorful fish.

There are few places if any left on earth -unexplored man has covered them all. Its was wonderful the find the Victoria Falls. When we first traveled to the Orient or Africa the discovery of the buried city after earthquakes the hope to find the missing link it was all new and different. Today the culture in many countries as well as customs and manor of dress imitates the western world. We can travel to China to see the great wall and find the influence of the western world. Still it is remarkable to see. What more is ahead with travel in space the big speculation? That will not be for me. This earth has so much to offer we need only to seek out the adventure that is most appealing for us. It may be as tame as paint by number or simply collecting shells from some foreign shore or collecting anything connected to lighthouses. Visit what is left of covered bridges here in the United States or if one is able visit the Valley of the Kings in Egypt. Because as we grow older and time takes its toll on us we must settle for fewer and less adventure's but settle for sedate and hopefully not the old rocking chair on the back porch with nothing but memories. Well let them be good memories any way and if one is not able to be adventurous we can always read National Geographic.

Fucking

Have you ever been to Fucking? I am sure that most of you think I am a fool and what a nonsense question it is. I know some of you are ready to criticize my grammar or my writing skills. I am here to change your thoughts about Fucking.

I met a chatter whose name is Ulrich in my favourite chat channel. She was very sweet and charming girl. I spoke with her for fifteen minutes. I was stunned when she told me that she lived in small village called Fucking. For a sudden, I thought that she was joking with me. She was serious and insisted on living there. I opened my Google Earth map and searched for Fucking. She was right. There has been a village called Fucking for more than 1400 years.

Fucking: A small village in Austria

Fucking is a small village in Upper Austria. The exact location is 33 kilometers north of Salzburg and near German border. It is in the municipality of Tarsdorf.

It takes it's name from a traveller whose name is Focko. As far as I know, Focko is the name of a man who travelled this village in the 6th century. Fucking means “the place of Focko's people”.

The most surprising thing in Fucking is the traffic signs at the entrance and exit of the village. Most of the people seeing this sign stop there and take the photo of it. However, this sign has been stolen many times.

Fucking is rich in oxygen and fresh air since it is situated in the forest region. Due to it's natural beauty, it is one of the beautiful picnic areas of Tarsdorf. Even though it is a very small village and it's population is only 93, it is one of the well-known villages in Austria as a natural result of media interest.

Would you like to go Fucking and be one of the Fuckers? So, this is your guide.
