Cheap Drinks in Boracay

Visit Cocomangas in station 1. They have a “Buy 1 take 1” promo on beers and selected cocktails up to 9pm (or 930pm). If you're on a budget, I recommend that you have dinner some place else before going here. You can come as late as 830pm then place all your orders for the night before the promo ends. You may ask the waiter to bring your drinks at a later time and they're okay with it ;)

If it's not raining, you'll find a barbecue stand right outside Cocomangas. You can buy from there and are allowed to bring the food in. They're not very strict about this. You should definitely try the grilled pork intestines (my favorite!) and their grilled chorizo (native sausage). They are simply delectable and would love to go back to Boracay just for these! ;)

On a tight budget or not, you shouldn't miss their famous "Still Standing After 15"! This is some sort of a drinking challenge where you are served 15 different flavored tequila shots to drink for the night. Not to worry because you are allowed to take your time downing all 15 shots. And when you're done, they'll ring the bell by the bar and give you a shirt that says "still standing after 15". To top that, your name and country will be engraved on their wall of fame ;) This set of drinks will set you back by P1,500. Though I haven't tried it yet myself (I'm a very light drinker…still practicing "til I get my turn hehe) I"d say it's worth the experience ;)

How to get there? You may take a leisurely walk along the beach or take a tricycle from D'mall. Fare is only P7/pax but drivers charge higher going back - about P50/ride, maximum of 4-5 pax. I think it's also because of the time element.

If you are staying in Station 2 and don't feel like going out too far, why don't you try Shenna's? If not wrong, their tequila shot costs P65/order. It is served in a small wine glass (yes you read it right) so it's actually equivalent to two shots! You'll definitely get drunk without putting a dent on your budget! ;)

Just like Cocomangas, you should also find a barbecue stand nearby. Shenna's is also not so strict about buying food from these stands so take advantage.

The Amazing Nightlife in Malta

Well to sum it up, I believe it's Amazing. Yet again, Malta has something for everyone.
It's somewhat hard to believe that a country so small like Malta, has areas of the country that the night life has been compared to the scene in Ibiza. That is a sign of Holiday Heaven for Many people. The difference between Malta and Ibiza is that Malta's price list for cocktails and beverages is extremely lower to that of Ibiza. And that can only be good if what you are looking for is a low budget holiday, or a party trip. One of the main scenes on the Island is Paceville. Imagine walking down a main road with music banging, lights shining, people having a good time, and you being part of that scene. Doesn't it just sound amazing!! Bars to suit everyone's needs.

Hard Rock Cafes, Beach bars, Banging Nightclubs, Irish Bars just every type of themed and intriguing pub and club you could think off!! Paceville neighbours Party Village Bay Street. This newly built Party Complex is a must for all party goers, live mixes, roaring nightclubs, busy restaurants, and a jam packed beach is the daily scene here. The Cinema Complex and Bowling alley making this area Heaven in many people's eyes. The newly built shopping arcade itself is a reason to visit this area.

And then you travel just 10 minutes down the road, finding amazing family orientated night scenes baring karaoke bars and games rooms to entertain the younger tourists whilst the older tourists can relax and have a refreshing drink. Maltese laws state that Children under the age of 16 are allowed to stay in bars, most clubs and restaurants till closing hours. This being an advantage as there is nothing restricting the family from having as much fun as possible whilst on the Islands. A big family resort area in Malta is Buggibba, Buggibba is ideal for all families for numerous reasons. To start off, Buggibba is situated near the sea-literally 20m away from most hotels in the area. The beaches are both sandy and rocky in the area, to tend to Everybody's needs. There are also many shops in the area, from local souvenir shops to clothes shops, jewellers and mini markets! All of these open till past 10pm daily.

The area is inundated with restaurants of all types, Indian, Italian, Mexican, Turkish, Maltese anything you desire. Many restaurants are made with children in mind, having games rooms, and child play areas. Then other restaurants are adult orientated. Games Arenas are scattered throughout Buggibba, featuring Pool Tables, Air Hockey Machines, and many Arcade games, All are supervised, and many have their own bars. The Pubs in Buggibba are Great places to meet new people or just have a quiet Drink. With or without Children. Music is always playing, many times being live acts. There is still the Nightclub scene in Buggibba, open till the early hours of the morning. Yet again appealing to all natures of audiences. Cinema Complexes and Bowling Alleys are situated 5mins away from the promenade. The Great advantage with this Town is that it is right next to Gozo, and numerous boat trips leave from Buggibba to Gozo, Comino, and St Pauls Island. These all being must do expeditions for the area. The area is ideal for walking, large pavements, for safety, pedestrian only areas. The People in Buggibba and throughout Malta in general always make you feel happy and welcome.-They do not understand the meaning of the word rude, or impolite.

For the More mature people there are towns like Sliema and St Julians. Quieter holiday resorts, still packed with everything you could need to have an amazing night out, just quieter, more relaxing, and the cherry on the cake being that this harbour town overlooks the capital city, and at both day and night, this stunning view itself, is one of a kind. St Julians is home to the Portomaso Resort, -The Hilton Malta. This is the home to numerous celebrities including Paul Scholes.

A new Complex that has been Built in Malta is the Malta Waterfront. This stunning complex is a restored Victorian fish Market, on the outskirts of the capital city home to many amazing new Restaurants and Bars including the Hard Rock Bar ,a quiet, elegant, yet moderately priced complex, walking the waterfront is yet again another beautiful view in itself. This area is where a hovercraft departs Daily for Trips to and from Sicily, taking you on excursions(if you wish) to Places like mount Etna, and the city of Taormina.-Which from my personal experience I can tell you are beautiful.

Maybe it isn't a drink that you want? Maybe you are looking for a game of bingo to play? Or some activities on the beach to finish of an amazing day? These are all typical activities taking place on nearly all beaches in Malta on a Daily basis. On every beach you will find numerous beach bars and open restaurants. These venues offer entertainment every night. And let's be Blunt, it's Cheap!!!! Not all children like playing Bingo though, and sometimes children just want to stand up, run around, play football; basically just entertain themselves in their own way .That's why beach bars are amazing. Long Golden stretches of sand, loads of space for children to entertain themselves, under your watchful eye, whilst enjoying the game of bingo, or the local performances put up for your entertainment. The beaches themselves have many events running, for example barbecues and beach sports. Sometimes local village groups organise barbecues on the beach that everyone can go to for a small fee in the range of £4 per person. Another experience lovely to be a part of on your holiday to Malta.

The amazing thing about all these resorts is that they are all different, this is a few of them only. There are tons, including Mellieha, St Pauls Bay, Bahar ic-Caq and Qawra. Some people want to relax on holiday, and get sleep at night, in Malta you can, without Vibrations through your Bed from the Nightclubs. The loud Party areas are divided away from the quieter resort areas, and the local villages; comfort always comes first in Malta.
For more information about Malta, please check out my other articles, regarding different aspects of Malta, from History, to beautiful beaches themselves.

Night Clubbing in Taiwan: Luxy

Girl sees cute Asian guy dancing by himself or with some guy friends. Girl decides to be a little forward and try dancing with this cute Asian guy. They dance at least a foot apart from each other. Girl touches guy's arm for an IOI (indicator of interest, read the game). Guy is stupid, just keeps dancing. Girl doesn't get the IOI, girl leaves exasperated.

The club is like 60% Asian, 30% white, 10% black/other. Then the Asian guys you meet are from the States or somewhere where they speak English, and probably doesn't speak Chinese. Let me just put it this way: The most native Taiwanese person I met was a 27 year old guy from London. He said he'd been living in Taipei city for a very long time. He spoke Chinese with a English accent.

There are lots of guys that are old enough to be your dad there. As the night goes on, it gets worse. You think it gets better because you see some cute Asian guys, but then you see their body language and realize their ego is way to inflated and it's a complete turn off.

 Drinks are extremely expensive.

The girls are still like the girls in the States, but they don't like to show it as much. They have an itch though, I see it when they get drunk. They start grinding everything, but they like to pretend they aren't promiscuous.

Conclusion: Want to date a white guy? Go to
Luxy.

Taiwan Night Clubbing: Plush

At first glance,
Plush
was beautiful. It had a great view, it was small, it was nice. It was a high class establishment. Well, as high class as night clubs get anyway.

We had a table thanks to Herbie and his sweet connections. However, as people started trickling in, I noticed a lack of good looking guys in the club. In fact, it was worse than that, I noticed a lack of young guys in the club period. So since this club was expensive to get into. That means that the people in here have to be rich too. That means that the majority of the guys were creepy old men with lots of cash in their hands and camera ready to go. As I was moving through the crowd, I danced a little, but this only led to me being caught by some guy who did not look that old but he was creepy alright and he was way too touchy freely. I had to get saved by my buddy DJ Kao. It was not fun. Let me just put it that way.

The girls are hot though. The girls are smokin' hot. But this is not a good combination. What ended up happening was me and my friends going into the cage to have a good time and then old men took pictures up my dress. It kind of makes me sad that I wore my slutty dress to this club. What a waste...

Also, it was possibly the greatest display on how good Asians are at taking their alcohol. All the way to the bathroom, I saw people throwing up. I felt bad for the team of people they hired to clean up the puke. Yeah, they had people.

Oh there was also this lame moment where they turned on the lights, stopped the music, and told everyone on the loudspeaker that the cops were here and had to check our IDs. So everyone got carded, again. Pretty sick. We sat there for a while, too. Of course, it was all complicated at our table because we have a bunch of out-of-country IDs.

One good thing I noticed about Plush though was the fact that they played pretty good music for the most part. Although a lot of it was still hard to dance to, it's better than techno-rave music at Luxy after midnight. I love Luxy, though...

Although, I must say that I had a great time at Plush because I spent the time with a great group of people. I danced with our group and got saved if any creepers came by (Thanks, DJ Kao).

So here's the final call on Plush. If you're a guy, young, you're hot, and you can afford to get in, please do and save all the hot girls from the creepy old men.
