India's first live gaming place is here on a boat. The sights and sounds of Goa are a fusion of the unusual with the exotic. Some of the best musicians and singers come from Goa.It is a destination where people are basically honest and tourist -friendly and knows how to have great time and where it is perfectly safe to drive around by yourself at night.
Martha's Vineyard is a Great Vacation Choice

With the addition of a young child to our family packing for vacation has taken on a whole new meaning. No longer do we just pack a couple of suitcases and head out the door to the airport. Now with a small child it is making sure you have the 1,000 items he needs to get by everyday, such as toys, snacks, food, what seems like his entire wardrobe, and bibs, to name a few.

What we also found is that not all locations offer high chairs, cribs or changing tables which are all necessities for an infant. We found that out the hard way. My wife and I made some adjustments to our vacations and now look towards renting homes as opposed to hotels, motels or inns.

Here is a location that my wife and I absolutely love to visit and it may make perfect sense for you as well.

Martha's vineyard

Located not too far from Boston lies Martha's Vineyard. Home to many of the elites such as Bill Murray and of course the Kennedy's to name a few, Martha's Vineyard boasts wonderful breath taking views, clean beaches and friendly people.

Since staying there I can say I absolutely say that I love the place. It is easy to navigate the island and it has something for everyone. If you like fishing there are marinas galore to take out a charter boat and get your fix in. If swimming is more your thing than anywhere you see the beach, there you are. There are plenty of nice restaurants to choose from also if you like to dine out.

Besides all of the amenities Martha's Vineyard has to offer, it is a great place to rent a home. There are many to choose from and depending on where you stay the cost ranges dramatically. We stayed in Vineyard Haven about 3 miles outside of Oaks Bluff. The house was a three bedroom ranch with two full baths and an outside deck that we took full advantage of. Each morning we would sit out on the deck with a hot cup of coffee and a nice warm breakfast before we began our day.

The house came accommodated with everything we needed and the best part is that it was close enough to the grocery store that we could just walk on over and pick up our supplies. It was a bit pricier than normal, but we expected that since we were on an island.

The house came with a charcoal grill which was great and one that we used for a lot of our meals. It had a washer and dryer for our laundry which was needed for our son with all the dirty bibs and close as well as doing our own laundry so that we didn't have to do it when we got home.

The cost to rent this particular home ran about $1500 for a week during peak summer time which is the end of June through the end of August and about $700 for off peak. We rented the house the week after Labor Day. We paid the $700 price, the water was still warm, everything was still open which this trip a real bargain.

If you have small children and are looking for a nice getaway, consider Martha's Vineyard, and more specifically look into renting a house. The flexibility it gives you is second to none.

Mysterious Scottish Island and Its History

On the Isle of Arran, located off Scotland's southwest coast, travelers can visit Machrie Moor, which boasts several stone circles and some free-standing 18-foot-tall stones. Adding to the island's appeal and mystery is the 16th-century Brodick Castle, which still houses furnishings and art from its many inhabitants; the ruins of Lochranza Castle; and Culzean Castle & Country Park, which features an armory, ruins, and extensive grounds.

Arran is a small island, 20 miles long and 56 miles round, located off the south-west coast of Scotland.

Ferries run from the Scottish mainland to the Isle of Arran. Most people reach the island via Ardrossan which has a direct rail service from Glasgow.

The history of Arran is of strong interest to local Archeologists, tourists, and residents.

The first people on Arran to leave visible signs of their life and times here were the Neolithic people, who lived on the island in the period between 4,500BC and 2,000BC. They were farmers, and traces of their field systems have been found on Arran. However, they have left their most distinct legacy on Arran in the form of stone circles, standing stones and cairns. We do not know what these monuments were used for, but it is safe to assume that they had some kind of ceremonial function.

Machrie moor standing stones is a small ancient circle protected by a stone wall. Continue on the footpath and you will reach the main site, three-quarters of a mile across the fields.

Robert Pollock has produced an excellent guide with diagrams which details these and other circles on this site. Two of the circles have recently been excavated, and the amount of peat growth over the original prehistoric ground surface can be seen as a tidemark on the stones. Indeed one of the circles had completely disappeared under the peat.

Druid Stone is likely to be a Neolithic or Bronze age stone, despite its local association with the Iron Age priesthood. A druid was a member of the priestly and learned class in the ancient Celtic societies of Western Europe, Britain and Ireland.

Ruins of Lochranza Castle are located north of Brodick.

It features the striking ruins of a 14th century castle, a former hunting lodge of the Scottish Kings.

It has been claimed that Lochranza Castle has literary connections, being used as the basis for the castle in the Tintin adventure "The Black Island".

Brodick Castle is made up of red sandstone and it lies at the foot of Goatfell Mountain 1.5 miles out of Brodick; the main port on the Isle of Arran off the west coast of Scotland.

The name Brodick comes from the Norse words, meaning 'broad bay'. Arran means 'peaked island' in Gaelic.

It's a fascinating Island filled with mysteries and folklore. Visit now before the times destroy it.

Top 10 Best Beaches in the World

Beaches all over the world never fail to attract large numbers of tourists every time. But more than just tourist destinations, beaches are great getaways-they offer the "great escape" from all the hustle and bustle, exactly what every city-dweller needs.

Let us countdown some of the best beaches you should visit, rightful in their respective categories.

Clifton Beach, Capetown, South Africa

"Best Big City Beach"

When you're spending your vacation in this paradise, it's kinda hard to imagine you're "just minutes away from the center of a major cosmopolitan city." During the day, it's hard not to miss the friendly locals and the large flock of tourists who have come to relax and enjoy the crystal waters of Clifton. The nightlife the beach offers is a blast and should not be missed! There are several bars and restaurants to choose from, as well as accommodations ranging from backpacker-friendly to jet set havens. Yes, Clifton is definitely a haven for the glamorous tourists who flew in from around the globe.

For accommodations visit Cape Venues

Pink Sands Beach, Harbor Island, the Bahamas

"Best Escape Beach"

Pink Sands is a popular destination for tourists who want to spend their holidays in a more private and intimate manner, nothing like the cosmopolitan package Clifton offers. This beach is famous for the wide-mile stretch of, yes, pink sands. Anyone who comes to this part of the Island is stunned by how miraculously nature can create such fine, almost like baby powder-like sands. You will never forget the almost-endless crystal blue horizon while lying on your back outside or in the veranda of one of the few (almost fully-booked every time) hotels. It's a perfect getaway for your two-week office work leave.

For the best hotel accommodation visit Pink Sand Resort

Larvotto Beach, Monte Carlo, Monaco

"Best Rich and Famous Beach"

The beaches (or whatever destination) in Monaco are pricey. You have to plan your vacay in this place well, bring with you lots of cash and make sure your credit cards are within reach because the whole adventure will cost you. However, you'll feel like the luckiest person in the world when you spend great times in Monte Carlo's prime beach, Larvotto. The tycoons and moguls, and some blue-blooded people who live in this planet with us, actually come to this place. It's as if the whole place is a by-invitation-only getaway. But never lose heart, anyone can go to Monte Carlo and spend his/her own R&R (don't be stressed by the prices!) on Larvotto!

Here's what the Travel Channel even said in one of its article about Larvotto:

"Perhaps the single most decadently glamorous beach in the world is Monte Carlo's Larvotto Beach, where women may go without their bikini tops, but wouldn't dare to be seen without their jewels. In fact, Larvotto's diamond-studded visitors are about the only thing that can compete with the sparkling Mediterranean water lapping along the sandy shore."

Now who doesn't want to bask under the sun (who cares if it may cause us cancer) with these blessed ones?

For more information about Larvotto beach visit the Travel Channel .
For the yacht experience visit Monaco Eye

Poipu Beach, Kauai, Hawaii

"Best Family Beach"

It's always the best time when you're spending the holidays with your family. Especially for married couples with kids, Poipu beach offers fun, kid-friendly activities that can be enjoyed by the whole family. In Poipu, the whole family can take their vacation to a higher, more exciting level by engaging in different activities such as camping, ATV (all terrain vehicles) riding, bicycling downhill, surfing, hiking, scuba diving, and other kid-friendly activities. But the best that Poipu can offer will have to be the helicopter rides the whole family can take! Yup, kids are allowed to experience the view of Poipu from the top, as long as their parents or guardians will accompany them during the trip. This is probably the most extraordinary way to enjoy your whole stay in Poipu!

For a unique experience and the best way to view Poipu (and the rest of the Island) visit Helicopters-Kauai

For activities and accommodation in Poipu visit Poipu Beach

South Beach, Miami, Florida

"Best Body Beach"

This is one of the most famous beaches for tourists in America, and it has been a favorite playground for Miami locals and foreign nationals alike. The party in South Beach is a year-round event, because everywhere you look everyone just seems to be having so much fun! Whether you're hanging out with your friend in the beach or checking out the different cultural exhibits along the streets near South Beach, the fun just never stops it's almost like crazy. So if you're looking for a worldwide-like convention of all the different cultures flocking Miami every time, this is the place to go.

Paradise Beach, Mykonos, Greece

"Best Party Beach"

Being the most popular among young people, Paradise Beach in Mykonos offers a nude-tolerant atmosphere. Tourists who come here come for the enjoyment of being around similarly adventurous and fun-loving people. It has been named by different travel shows in Europe and the US as one of the world's best party beaches. Probably the reason why this is so is because of the numerous beach bars around Mykonos. In Paradise beach, the cafes are organized and very tourist-friendly that you will never have to worry if someone will attend to your needs. You can sit back and enjoy the view of the beach while drinking with the friendly locals or with one or more of the intrepid travelers around like you.

For more information on what to do and where to go in Mykonos, go to Mykonos Web

Yearly, the beach welcomes tens of thousands of tourists who hail from different nations. And when you say Ipanema, it's synonymous with ‘summer' in Rio because this is where the beautiful locals and tourists too, come to spend their summer days. Now you must know that when you come to Ipanema, it's a must to wear as little clothing as possible. Brazilians believe that when you go to the beach, you must show skin and bake yourself under the glorious sun of Rio.

So pack lightly when you're planning to come to Ipanema, because you won't be needing those clothes really. Ipanema

Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia

"Best Activity Beach"

This beach near the commercial center along Gold Coast is a haven for surfers from Australia and even from other countries. But aside from surfing, there are plenty of other activities to enjoy. The beach area offers a wide range of water sports like jetski, as well as beach volleyball. You can also enjoy the water but never get wet by joining one of their fishing charters or whale watching cruises. If you'd rather stay dry on land, maybe some bungee jumping or golfing will do for you. Clearly the list of activities to do in the beach is endless, and if you're the one who'd spend your holidays relaxing but wouldn't want to get out of shape, this is the place to go.

Australian Explorer

Here you get to look at people walking across the beach, for singles; here is your potential time for meeting a soul mate or a holiday companion which is high here.

For swimmers it is enjoyable to be at the beach. The coastal city of Mombasa receives thousands of local and foreign tourists each year. The coast has a obvious aura of a holiday resort. What I enjoyed most at the coast is swimming at the beach and visiting parks to mention but a few. For animal lovers you can visit these places and many others.

A Taste of Encinitas

You're in Southern California, driving down the 5, top down, ocean on your right. About twenty miles north of San Diego, you pull off the freeway and head into a town full of surfers, breakfast burritos, outdoor cafes, and beaches so beautiful they will freeze you in the sand. Welcome to Encinitas, California. As you take a drive along the 101, you pass a million bikers out for their daily workout. Coffee shops and flip flops are a couple things you will find a lot of in this town. People here live the casual life. They take walks, smile a lot, lay on the beach, keep active outdoors, talk to strangers, and for the most part, enjoy life. How couldn't you when you live in one of the most beautiful places in the world?

It doesn't matter what time of year you visit, Encinitas is always breathtaking. With skies of neon blue and palm trees and grass in the most stunning shades of green, it's almost as if the sun has set this town on fire. Stop by one of the many cafes and treat yourself. The doors are usually always open. One stop, Swami's Cafe, sits with its patio feet away from passing cars and bikers on the 101. Here you can get a ridiculous breakfast or lunch of organic and natural foods while watching surf videos while you wait in line to order. Afterwards, head across the street to the Java Hut for a satisfying blend of fruit smoothies. With your smoothie in hand, take a walk through the nearby Self Realization Gardens to experience some of the most beautiful flowers and ocean views in all of Encinitas.

Before the sun goes down for the day, stop by the Pannikin for a cup of joe. You won't be able to miss this place. The Pannikin is an old yellow train station that has been turned into a coffee and tea shop. You will find local artwork hanging on the walls and people reading outside on the patio. Once you have your cup, take a stroll a few blocks west and watch one of the most beautiful sunsets you will ever experience.

This is only a taste of what you will find here in Encinitas, so stop by and explore for yourself the fresh ocean air, the wonderful people, and the beach cafes. Keep in mind though, you won't want to leave.
