The Worlds Most Expensive TV

This is the worlds most expensive TV and has the staggering price tag of $130,000 dollars. This YALOS Diamond LCD TV is well worth its price tag due to all of its brilliant features. The features include 160 diamonds that total up to at least 20 karats, extraordinary brightness, a great contrast ratio, a great response, and unbelievable pixel resolution. Oh yeah I forgot, this thing also happens to be plated in white gold.

Worlds Most Expensive Phone

GoldVish Luxury Communications of Geneva sold this phone for the huge price of 1.3 million dollars in 2006. This phone, nicknamed Le Million, is covered with 18 karat gold surrounded by 1,800 diamonds with a total of more than 120 karats. This one of a kind phone was purchased by a Russian man that gave it as a gift. That is one gift that I know wasn't returned.

Worlds Most Expensive Perfume

This perfume is called Imperial Majesty and is the most expensive bottled perfume in the world. This bottle sells at the whopping price of $215,000 dollars and must smell, oh so good. Imperial Majesty is actually a limited edition signature scent of Clive Christian and sells for $2,150 dollars an ounce. In this case the bottle costs so much because a British designer poured 16 ounces of it into a crystal bottle covered with diamonds and an 18-carrot gold collar. This is one blinged out perfume bottle.

Worlds Most Expensive Gameboy

This out-of-date toy is the world's most expensive Gameboy with a staggering price tag of $25,000 dollars. This limited edition Gameboy was created by Aspreys of London and is made out of 18 karat gold with a display screen surrounded with diamonds. I wonder what lucky kid got this toy from Santa?

Worlds Most Expensive Pen

This is the world's most expensive pen and was designed by Caran d'Ache in 1999. He designed this very extravagant and blinged out pen to show respect for a famous architect named Antoni Gaude who passed away in 1926. This pen, known as La Modernista Diamonds Fountain Pen, was sold to a Swiss company for a cool $265,000 dollars. The pen contains solid silver parts, a 18-karat gold tip, and is enveloped in 5,072 specially cut diamonds. This pen also contains 96 rubies which form an emblem on the pens cap top.

Worlds Most Expensive Cup of Tea

This is actually the world's most expensive tea bag and has the gigantic price of $13,941 dollars. This special tea bag was created by PG Tips Tea Company to celebrate their 75th anniversary. It took three months to make and was entirely hand crafted with over 280 diamonds. I can't wait to see how they celebrate their 100th anniversary.

Worlds Most Expensive Water

This is Kona Nigari water and is the world's most expensive water at $16.75 dollars an ounce. This water is packed with minerals and comes from the deep seas near Hawaii. The water has first been desalted of course. This water is not just meant to be drunk. You are instead supposed to dillute it with more regular water. This water is specially known for the healthy vitamins and minerals that come in each bottle.

Worlds Most Expensive Christmas Tree

This is the World's Most Expensive Christmas Tree and valued at over half a million dollars. This tree is made from 5 pounds of 18 karat gold, is decorated with round briolette diamonds, and has a platinum star with a 4.54 karat diamond on top. This tree will be sold at an auction and all of the proceedings will go to the American Cancer Society. I wonder what kind of gifts Santa would leave under this tree?

Worlds Most Expensive Fishing Lure

That's right, this is an iced-out fishing lure that is valued at 1 Million Dollars. This $1,000,000 fishing lure consists of three pounds of Platinum, Gold, Diamonds, and Rubies. This lure took months to create and was totally hand crafted. I am not sure who owns this lure now, but I hope he is bringing in some big fish.

Worlds Most Expensive Skull

I know you're probably sitting in your chair googly-eyed and with your mouth hanging open, but trust me this skull is real. This 90 Million Dollar skull was created by the notorious artist Damien Hirst. This one-of-a-kind piece of art is titled “For the Love of God” and is the most costly piece of contemporary art ever made. This piece is encrusted with over 8,601 diamonds and has a total of 1,106.18 carats. It weighs 63 pounds and is made from a real skull and teeth. This is my new favorite piece of art and Damien is my new favorite artist. Damien is not planning to sell this piece of art and created it with his own bank account. Now all he has to do is stick this skull on top of a cane and become the ultimate Puff Daddy.

Five Amazing and Expensive Hotel Rooms

The Bridge Suit at Atlantis is the most amazing hotel room I have ever seen. At $25,000 a night the bridge suite connects the two towers of Atlantis and has an amazing view that people should just plain thankful to experience. Atlantis is located on "Paradise Island" in the Bahamas and has a lot of fun things to do at their hotel. The casino being my favorite place to be is a very beautiful one but if you're bringing kids Atlantis has an amazing pool and waterslides. With the theme of the hotel being "Atlantis" the water slides also match the theme making them even more fun to ride and make the hotels overall look spectacular.

The MGM Grand Mansion is another amazing place to stay. At $5,000 a night this mansion is extremely expensive but if you have the money is completely worth it. The exterior of the mansion is beautiful with beautiful stone pillars and a black gate at the entrance and an amazing water fountain in the middle of a circle driveway. The mansion is supposed to look like a Tuscan Villa from the 18th century. It has a pool, garden, and the beautiful fountain.

The Bellagio Presidential Suite is a beautiful suite that puts you right on the strip in Las Vegas, Nevada. The suite is over 4,000 square feet and beautifully decorated. The suite has a beautiful pool, whirlpool tubs, and steam showers. Some things that come with this suite are 24-hour butler service, a beautiful fire place, and plasma screen televisions.

In Rome in the Westin Excelsior hotel there is a very large beautiful suite called the Villa La Cupola. The room obviously is decorated in a roman style and is absolutely amazing to see. It's around $14,000 a night to stay in but once again if you have the money is well worth it. The suite is very large at just over 6,000 square feet and has beautiful balconies with an amazing view.

The last hotel room I will talk about is in the Martinez Hotel . The presidential suite is very expensive at $18,000 a night. The room is very modern looking and has a beautiful balcony over looking the water. The suite has a beautiful jacuzzi and plasma screen televisions. It's also a great party sweet, the balcony is over 1,000 square feet.

The World's Three Most Expensive Desserts

Strawberries Arnaud

Price: $ 1.4 million

Just like his other creations, Arnaud Casbarian has used such an extremely exquisite array of ingredients in this dish that it has become quite legendary. This amazing dessert features strawberries marinated in the finest port, served with fresh mint and cream. What really adds to the bill here is the additional 5 carat pink-diamond ring, once belonging to the British financier Sir Ernest Cassel, which is “served” fresh with the strawberries.

The Fortress Stilt Fisherman Indulgence

Price: $ 14,500

The age-old tradition of stilt-fishing, carried out by Sri Lanka's fishermen, is showcased in this marvelous dessert. This delicacy features an aquamarine gem placed on a hand-made chocolate fisherman's stilt, apart from the real dessert, which is a mix of many exotic fruits. The dessert is served in a hand-made glass utensil whose price is not included. This dessert was created and debuted at the Wine3 Fisherman Stilt Restaurant, Sri Lanka.

Macaroons Haute Couture

Price: $ 7,414 onwards

Macaroons - a layer of butter cream sandwiched between two meringue puffs - are as popular in France as chocolate chip cookies are in the US. Pastry chef Pierre Hermé has created a new type of macaroons that may not be as popular as the ordinary ones, mainly because of the expensive new price tag. Starting from $7,414, these tasty macaroons feature a variety of ingredients sandwiched between puffs made from chef Hermé's special ingredients like “fleur de sel” and balsamic vinegar. The fillings range from peanut butter to chocolate with red wine, and the best part is that you can decide what to put in your macaroon. Of course, there are caveats as not all flavors go together.

Nine Unlikely Ways to Literally Munch, Taste and Consume Gold

Even though these gold flakes are tasteless, they are normally used as decorations that give an extra luxurious touch to culinary delights and dreamy beverages. Some people even believe that edible gold has a wide range of health benefits that offer the eater special powers to rejuvenate the human body and which contribute to longevity.

Come check out the latest in delicacies and be sure to enjoy your "golden" gastronomic experience.

1. The Grand Opulence Sundae

This is probably the world's most expensive ice cream and has a price tag of $1,000 per serving, especially available at the Serendipity Restaurant in New York. The premium ice cream sundae is beautifully garnished with a generous amount of 24-karat edible golden flakes.

2. Pizza Royale 007

Perhaps you have read about the world's most expensive pizza prepared by a Glasgow based restaurateur, Domenico Crolla. With a price tag of around £2,150, you'll get a pizza with premium toppings including edible gold flakes. Viola!

3. Frozen Haute Chocolate

According to the Guinness Book of World Records, "Frozen Haute Chocolate" is the world's most expensive dessert, available at Serendipity 3, New York city. At $25,000, this dessert is made up of exotic blends of cocoa, sprinkled with 5 grams of gold flakes and served in a goblet lined with a thin layer of an edible gold sheet.

4. Gold Liquor

It is believed that the gold flakes in liquor are meant to cut one's throat in very tiny areas so that the alcohol may enter the bloodstream quicker for a faster effect. Although this may be an urban myth, nonetheless, there are several liquors in the market which contain gold. For instance, the "Gold Flakes Supreme" is an ultra premium vodka produced in France and marketed by the Shaw Ross Importers at about $60 per 750ml bottle.

"Goldschlager" is another alcohol beverage which contains edible gold flakes. This Swiss cinnamon schnapps costs around $25 per 750ml bottle. Perhaps you can also opt for "Danziger Goldwasser", a Polish herbal liquor which also contains floating gold flakes, costing around $29 per bottle.

5. Seville Orange Marmalade

In 2006, to mark its 125th business anniversary, a UK fruit preserves manufacturer, F. Duerr & Son produced the world's most expensive marmalade. The "Seville Orange Marmalade", contains 24-karat gold flakes and comes in a crystal jar. It is maybe the most expensive marmalade spread for a piece of your toast.

6. DeLafee Chocolate and Lollipop

A Swiss company, DeLafee International has been developing luxurious gifts decorated with gold since 2004. DeLafee's products include golden chocolates and golden lollipops. DeLafee's gold chocolate is made of premium cocoa, wrapped in an edible 24-karat gold sheet. A small box containing 8 chocolate pralines costs about $100 per box. DeLafee's lollies on the other hand are red heart-shaped sweets garnished with 24-karat edible gold flakes. Costing nearly $29 per piece, it makes a nice Valentine's Day gift.

7. Gold Wine

Jayson Woodbridge, the owner of Napa based Hundred Acre came up with "GOLD" wines containing 24-karat gold flakes. GOLD comes in two 2005 vintages; one is made from California's Napa Valley's grapes and another is made from Australia's Barossa Valley's grapes. They are currently available in the US market for about $25 per bottle.

8. Golden Beaver Hot Sauce

The Golden Beaver Hot Sauce contains habanero pepper extract and of course, floating 24-karat gold flakes. It costs $49 per bottle.

9. Gold Sake

In Japanese culture, sake containing edible gold flakes is often consumed during the New Year's eve for luck and prosperity. There are several types of sake brands in the market which contain gold flakes. The more familiar one in the market would be the "Kuromatsu Hakushika Gold Yamada Nishiki Sake". This sake is made from premium Yamadanishiki rice and comes complete with floating gold flakes. It costs $30 per 720 ml bottle.

Cheers and Bon Appetit!

The World's Most Expensive Desserts

If you have a sweet tooth and really prefer your dessert to your main course you probably think you have sample most kinds of sweet treat. These mouth-watering treats are enough to make your eyes water too when you look at the price tags.

THE FORTRESS AQUAMARINE

This eighty carat aquamarine gem stone rests gently on a tiny sliver of chocolate that is shaped to look like the stilt fisherman that is incorporated into the restaurant’s logo. This dessert is served with handmade glass utensils which you cannot take away with you, but you can take away that gem stone. At a cool $14,500 you need to have something to put into your pocket.

BROWNIE EXTRAORDINAIRE FROM DESSERT EXPERIENCE, ATLANTIC CITY

This brownie comes with a St. Louis crystal atomiser filled with 1996 Quinto do Noval to be sprayed into the mouth between mouthfuls of the hazelnut coated brownie. This one sounds delicious but at $1000, perhaps I’d choose something else.

SULTAN’S GOLDEN CAKE, ISTANBUL

This dessert takes 72 hours to make and it is served at special occasions. It is full of figs, quince, apricot and pears which are marinated for two years in Jamaican Rum. The topping is shaved, caramelised , black truffles and 24 carat gold leaf. It is served on a silver cake box with a gold seal. This sounds amazing but at $1000 a time, most of us won’t get the opportunity to try it.

Personally speaking, I’d pay that for the second option here. I can almost taste that port washing down chocolate brownies. What a fantastic taste sensation it must be, but I’d need to have that $1000 to spare first, so maybe I’ll stick to brownies and a cup of coffee.

World's Three Most Expensive Champagnes

Champagne comes in different sized bottles and of varying prices. But there are the extreme ones, which are the world's most expensive ones.

LOUIS ROEDERER, CRISTAL BRUT 1990

Price: $ 17,625

An unidentified seller really made money at an auction in December 2005, when he sold a bottle of this champagne at an auction. Ever since, the brand has gained great popularity and is now a world-wide highly recognized brand. The enormous gold-labeled bottle stores 6 liters of the most expensive champagne in the world.

KRUG, CLOS DU MESNIL 1995

Price: $ 750

Talking about luxury champagne, the Krug Mesnil really beats the rest. It is made from grapes from just one small vineyard of 4.5 acres. This champagne is quite rare as in the 1995 vintage, only 12,624 bottles of it were produced. For a champagne so “young” in age, its recent releases are soft, delicate and easily accessible.

BOLLIGNER BLANC DE NOIRS VIEILLES VIGNES FRANCAISES 1997

Price: $ 400

Blanc de noire is the rarest of all campaigns due to its special ingredient: Pinot Noir grape. This champagne with amazing fuzz is composed entirely of the Pinot Noir grape, a special grape of tiny size that is grown only in a limited number of vines in France. Even in vintage years, only 40 bottles of this extraordinary champagne make it to the U.S.

The Five Most Expensive Chocolates in the World

Chocolates are one of the many heavenly tastes to our tongues. We buy loads of them and store them in the refrigerator to be eaten at will. But sometimes, buying chocolates can get a little expensive:

CHOCOPOLOGIE

Creator: Knipschildt

Cost: $2,600 per pound

Location: Norwalk, Connecticut

Founded by Fritz Knipschildt, a chef who got his culinary education in Denmark, in 1999, Knischildt creates one of the world's tastiest chocolates. Its costliest on-piece chocolate is a $250 dark chocolate truffle with French black truffle within it (in picture). This special truffle, available only on a pre-order basis, is mainly composed of 70% Valhrona cacao blended into a creamy ganache with truffle oil. The truffle is made with extremely precise bare hands and finally dusted with cocoa powder.

NOKA

Creator: Noka Vintages Collection

Cost: $854 per pound

Location: Dallas, Texas

A compilation of the finest dark chocolates obtained from selective plantations in Venezuela, Côte d'Ivoire, Trinidad and Ecuador, Noka chocolate is the second most expensive in the world. It comprises of 75% pure, single-origin cacao with other ingredients like cacao butter and sugar. One amazing fact about this chocolate manufacturer is that it does not add any type of emulsifier or vanilla flavors in its chocolates.

DELAFEE

Creator: Delfee©

Cost: $504 per pound

Location: Neuchatel, Switzerland

For those ladies who are fans of gold, there's Delafee to be tried out, because this chocolate is made by applying real 24K edible flakes of gold to each praline by hand. Otherwise, it is composed of sugar, coconut oil, cocoa butter, milk powder and vanilla.

RICHART

Creator: Richart ©

Cost: $120 per pound

Location: Lyon, France

Richart chocolate might be only the fourth most expensive chocolate in the world, but it is made up of 70% Criollo cocoa from Venezuela, which is considered to be the best quality of chocolate in the world. The cocoa used in the chocolates is finely ground, to give a smooth taste to any taster. To match with the finest chocolate, the best varieties of almonds, raspberries, strawberries and other exotic species are used.

GODIVA

Creator: Godiva “G” Collection

Cost: $117 per pound

Location: New York City, New York

With its origins from Belgium, the well known chocolatier, Godiva, introduced its “G” Collection of chocolates only recently. The whole of “G” Collections is comprised of various ingredients and flavors like Palet d'Or, Tasmanian honey and Mexican Hot Chocolate. The flavoring of the chocolates depends on the type of bon-bon that is manufactured.

There are several reasons for these fast foods to be extremely costly, some of which might include the use of premium and pricey ingredients for one's gastronomic indulgence or as part of a charity initiative or fund raising effort.
