He designed this very extravagant and blinged out pen to show respect for a famous architect named Antoni Gaude who passed away in 1926. The pen contains solid silver parts, a 18-karat gold tip, and is enveloped in 5,072 specially cut diamonds. This pen also contains 96 rubies which form an emblem on the pens cap top.

This is my new favorite piece of art and Damien is my new favorite artist. Damien is not planning to sell this piece of art and created it with his own bank account. Now all he has to do is stick this skull on top of a cane and become the ultimate Puff Daddy.

DeLafee's gold chocolate is made of premium cocoa, wrapped in an edible 24-karat gold sheet. A small box containing 8 chocolate pralines costs about $100 per box. DeLafee's lollies on the other hand are red heart-shaped sweets garnished with 24-karat edible gold flakes. Costing nearly $29 per piece, it makes a nice Valentine's Day gift.

Jayson Woodbridge, the owner of Napa based Hundred Acre came up with "GOLD" wines containing 24-karat gold flakes. GOLD comes in two 2005 vintages; one is made from California's Napa Valley's grapes and another is made from Australia's Barossa Valley's grapes. They are currently available in the US market for about $25 per bottle.

This brownie comes with a St. Louis crystal atomiser filled with 1996 Quinto do Noval to be sprayed into the mouth between mouthfuls of the hazelnut coated brownie. This one sounds delicious but at $1000, perhaps I’d choose something else.

SULTAN’S GOLDEN CAKE, ISTANBUL

This dessert takes 72 hours to make and it is served at special occasions. It is full of figs, quince, apricot and pears which are marinated for two years in Jamaican Rum. The topping is shaved, caramelised , black truffles and 24 carat gold leaf. It is served on a silver cake box with a gold seal. This sounds amazing but at $1000 a time, most of us won’t get the opportunity to try it.

Personally speaking, I’d pay that for the second option here. I can almost taste that port washing down chocolate brownies. What a fantastic taste sensation it must be, but I’d need to have that $1000 to spare first, so maybe I’ll stick to brownies and a cup of coffee.

A dish prepared by a Glasgow based restaurateur, Domenico Crolla, The Pizza Royale 007 is made using an organic pizza base which is topped with edible gold sheets, fine cognac marinated lobster, champagne soaked caviar, sunblush tomato sauce, Scottish smoked salmon and venison.

The Four Seasons Hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia has created the pricey hamburger which costs a million Indonesian rupiah or approximately $110, and is thought to be the world's most expensive burger. The taste is a fusion of East meets West and the hamburger is made with a home-made onion-wheat bun and includes the finest Japanese Kobe beef. The World’s Most Expensive French Fry

This very unique 'limited edition' french fry called the “Lincoln Fry” contains the profile of Abraham Lincoln and has appeared in a McDonald's ad in the 2005 Super Bowl. In actual fact, this french fry was used as a prop during the commercial, however it has since been auctioned on eBay and was sold to the Golden Palace Casino.
