It\'s pretty similar to the fugu skinning.
I don\'t understand why people make such a big deal about eating it but are fine when it comes to beef, poultry etc.

In my (albeit small and under-read) book suffering= bad taste. I don't agree with the meat-processing industry in the west, but there's no excuse for the treatment of that fish. Tasty or not.
