<![CDATA[Yes Sydney is situated on the Darling Harbour. It is the Murray-Darling River System and is one of the longest in the world, going from Queensland to South Australia and New South Wales. Capitols in Australia are mentioned in connection with their major city such as Brisbane on the Brisbane, Melbourne on the Yarra and Sydney on the Darling, to name a few. <![CDATA[I don't think it is the Darling River that empties into Sydney Harbour.
