I think we have all bought some piece of exercise equipment that we thought was going to be the best piece of equipment that we have ever bought. If you are anything like me your thoughts ran on the side of I am going to use this everyday of my life. It was an amazing piece of equipment and it was just exactly what you needed. Most likely you saw it being used by someone that was “perfect” with the perfect look or the perfect body. And you where going to get that body!! For what ever reason it was that you bought it, it was the answer to all of your problems at the time. And of course for the first few days, or perhaps even the first few months you did use it all the time. Unlike me, I am sure that you are still using it and that it has accomplished that with which you bought it for. Unlike me, I am sure that it is not in a corner of the room collecting dust. Or perhaps, again unlike me, it is not being used as your dirty close basket or even your clean clothes basket. Surely unlike me, this was not the most expensive piece of equipment that a $4.95 laundry basket could have done the same thing! Why is it that when we get into these moods we do not look to things that we already have. Like tennis shoes that will take us anywhere we want to go. Or perhaps there is other things that we could do to help in accomplishing the things that we want. Like cleaning your home. Do you realize how much energy we use by doing the mopping or vacuuming or even changing the sheets on our beds. OK, now that I have said all of that....would someone like to come and clean my house?
