Good Ergonomics

Being comfortable in your work area is just as important as having your computer.

Do You Have a Comfortable Workspace?

Where are you using your computer right now? Is the area you use spacious enough to allow you to stretch out a cramp in your leg, for instance? Can you close off your office or space from noisy distractions if need be? Is there enough space to place your monitor at least an arms' length away from your eyes?

Believe me when I say that these factors are more critical than you might think. Each of these things can affect not only our attitude, but our overall productivity.

Some Quick Solutions

If you are at home, maybe you can move your work area. Hopefully, the chair you're using now is comfortable, but if not, use a different one. I can't stress this enough. Being more comfortable will not only make you a happier worker, but you will be a more productive one.
