Sefton Park, Liverpool

Would you like to visit Sefton Park in Liverpool, England?

Sefton park was opened in Victorian times. It is a lovely park, situated in the south of Liverpool, England. Surrounding Sefton Park, there are quite a number of large houses, which will probably have been "home" to wealthy people at one time. There are at least two hotels which "overlook" the park. Some of the best features of Sefton Park are the large lake, the bandstand and the "Palm House". Access to this park, can be made from many locations, as it only has a small amount of "fencing" etc.

Bats may well be seen, close to the lake, at dusk. There are large old trees, but also large open spaces, so whether you want a leisurely walk, or a picnic on the grass, the opportunities are open to you.

If you are lucky enough to be in Sefton Park on November 5th., you may see some wonderful fireworks, as this is generally one of the locations a firework display is put on.

If you do decide to visit this park, I hope you enjoy yourself.
