City's are wondrous things aren't they. Living, breathing entity's that reflect all mankind's different tastes and character. They reflect collective hopes and fears by always striving to push on to what's new and improved but not for one second allowing you to forget your past and were you came from.
Myself, being a Londoner, I am bombarded daily by the sights and sounds of a truly great world city. It sometimes seems as though the world has chosen London to represent all of mankind's character and culture because every conceivable language, colour, belief and cuisine can be found here. If aliens were looking down on London, I'm sure they would see it as a great big human petree dish full of all the variety humans have to offer.
I've travelled throughout the world and have seen some truly gorgeous cities but one other city that somehow transfixed me was the city of Edinbrough.
Being someone interested in the old world, I was in awe of Edinbrough's, quite unique, dominant stone beauty but also of its overpowering ability to make you feel that your in a fiercely proud and history ridden city. Or maybe I felt that way due to my English blood! hehe.
I could spend days listing off Edinbroughs attractions but all I shall say is that this city captured my heart and soul and I cant wait for the day I return.
