Home House is a stunning Neo-Classical town house originally built in 1771 as a palace of entertainment for the Countess of Home in the 18th century. Today, is serves as a members-only club for the elite heralding from the worlds of fashion, business and media.

Home House features four drawing rooms, each situated off the grand staircase which affords an amazing view of the intricately-decorated domed-ceiling. The sumptuous neo-classical interior boasts original art and luxurious furnishings. Elegant antique crystal chandeliers hang from handcrafted ceilings – casting a warm glow upon exquisitely decorated walls and oak floors covered by oriental rugs.

Sipping a cocktail, whilst lounging on an oversized leather chair, you may feel as though you are being watched by the two antelopes and a warthog that grace the mantelpiece above the fire. Eerily, their piercing eyes and aloof expressions are similar to that of some of the more snobby guests who frequent the establishment.

If mingling with the crème de la crème has left you peckish, try sampling one of their diverse menu items or bar snacks. If you arrive during the summer months, be sure to visit the Enchanted Garden, a hidden gem ideal for al fresco dining.

If a luxurious night’s rest is what you seek, stay in one of eighteen lavishly decorated bedrooms and suites all named after famous people who lived at one time or another in the house. Several periods have been revived to embrace the history of the house. Whether your preference leans toward Georgian, Gothic, Oriental, or Art Deco glamour, all designs are complemented by contemporary luxuries.

When you awaken, refreshed from a good night’s sleep, invigorate your senses in the health spa located in the old servant’s quarters. Treatment Rooms, a spa, a chilled plunge pool and cedar lined sauna are available for every member to enjoy. Personal fitness trainers are on hand seven days a week in a state of the art gymnasium, housed below stairs in the former servants’ quarters.

A membership at this club is guaranteed to provide one with the sense that they truly are one of London’s elite. Membership inquiries can be made by phone or E-mail.
