Anilao, Batangas is located in the Southern Luzon which is about 140 kilometer away from Manila. It is becoming a weekend destination for those diving fanatics because of its proximity. There are about 24 dive sites in Anilao which dives are mainly the coral slopes and the shallow gardens. The cathedral which is about 60 feet is the most famous dive site and it is a roofless cavern with a cross flanked by two large sea mounts.
The diving spots are the : Sombrero Island which is about 10-18 meters deep, Malajibomaoc depth of 18-24, Ligpo Island depth of 27-61m, The Cathedral depth of 19-30m, Eagle Point depth of 10-18m, Koala depth of 18-24m , Arthur's Rock depth of 10-21m, Dead Palm depth of 10-21m, Twin Rocks depth of 6-12m, Mainit Point depth of 15-30m, Red Rock depth of 8-12m, Beatrice Rock depth of 14-27m, Bahura depth of 15-30m, Layag-Layag depth of 10-18m, Kirby's Rock depth of 12-33m, Caban Cove depth of 10-15m, Dari Laut depth of 20-27m, Sepok Wall depth of 15-27m, Bethlehem depth of 10-15m, Mapating Rock depth of 20-40m, Merriel's Rock depth of 18-24m, Devil's Point depth of 15-24m, Red Palm depth of 10-24m.
To get to Anilao, Batangas, you can drive or take the bus which takes about 2-2.5 hours from Manila. Busses to Batangas is in Cubao or in Pasay. When you arrive Batangas City, find a jeepney that goes to Anilao.
